Detroit Pistons re-sign Will Bynum

on

Will “The Thrill” Bynum is coming back to MoTown to throw some more lobs to Andre Drummond and newly acquired Josh Smith.

Bynum on Monday verbally agreed to a 2-year $5.75 million deal to remain with the Detroit Pistons. All offers can’t be officially signed until July 10.

Bynum averaged 9.8 points and 3.6 assists in 65 games this past season. He’ll back up Brandon Knight and Kyle Singler, who at this point will shift the 2-guard spot with the acquisition of Smith.

I like the re-signing. Bynum is a spark plug off the bench and he can give the team a jolt of energy when he comes in. He also has great chemistry with Drummond on the lob and I’m sure he can get something going with Smith and the newly drafted Tony Mitchell. Can anyone say, “Detroit Lob City”?
