Fells is a 6-7, 281-pound veteran and has established himself as one of the best run- and pass-blocking tight ends in the NFL. He began his career as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks then moved to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.
He played a vital role during his three-year career with the Cardinals, and including career-marks in receptions (21), receiving yards (311) and touchdowns (3) during the 2015 campaign.
General manager Bob Quinn has made adding depth to the trenches a priority during free agency. Acquiring Fells certainly speaks to his game-plan.
