The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that they’ve signed CB Tramain Jacobs and WR Dez Stewart and waived CB Des Lawrence and WR Ryan Spadola with injury designations.

After going undrafted out of Ohio Dominican, Dez Stewart has been a practice squad guy for multiple teams. After a brief stint on the Buccaneers, he had another short stay with the Redskins and later signed on to the Packers’ practice squad last season. Stewart also had a short stint with the Steelers before they waived him with an injury designation and eventually cut him loose.

Stewart, 24 has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Jacobs comes to the Lions from the Canadian Football League. Prior to the CFL, he spent time on the Raiders, Giants and the Ravens.
