Well, it happened. Bill Belichick ran out of third-string magic. The Patriots might not have gone undefeated in Tom Brady’s stead but as capable as they’ve looked without him, they are the clear favorites with him. Let’s have a moment of silence for the Browns whom Brady is about to use to exorcise his demons.

Speaking of demons, opposing quarterbacks should do a whole lot of praying when preparing to face the Broncos. That defense is as terrifying as the unit that ended Cam Newton’s career in last year’s Super Bowl. What’s that? He’s still playing? Could’ve fooled me.

We were certainly all fooled by many teams this week, especially those baffling Cardinals. Carson Palmer, you alright, bro? Didn’t think so. We all floated dangerously close to .500 in this week’s PRI and that seems like a line I’d rather not cross.
