Ndamukong Suh helped rescue comedian and fellow contestant Louie Anderson from the pool, according to TMZ.

During filming for the celebrity diving reality show “Splash,” the Lions Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh helped rescue comedian and fellow contestant Louie Anderson from the pool, according to TMZ.

A number of teammates have come out opposed to Ndamukong Suh’s involvement on the show, stating that they were surprised that the organization and coaches would allow such a dangerous activity in the off-season. Head coach Jim Schwartz didn’t seem to agree.

“You’re going into water.” Schwartz said.

Schwartz said he would be more concerned if Suh were ice skating or sky diving. I wonder if this incident changes his perspective on things.
