ESPN has hired former Detroit Pistons legend Chauncey Billups as an NBA analyst. The recently retired point guard dubbed “Mr. Big Shot” will serve on NBA Tonight, Sportscenter, NBA Coast to Coast, and ESPN Radio.

It’ll be interesting and pretty cool in general to see Billups on TV talking about the game of basketball. Billups is a smart guy and he’s a terrific talker and he’ll be an excellent contributed to ESPN’s NBA coverage.

Billups played 17 seasons in the league and in eight seasons with the Pistons he averaged 16.5 points and 6.2 assists. He was the MVP of the 2004 Pistons championship over the Lakers. I can’t wait to see him on ESPN this upcoming season.
