The Detroit Red Wings snapped a 4-game home losing streak against the Anaheim Ducks Saturday night, thanks in large part to Tomas Tatar’s first career hat trick!
He banged in a rebound for his first goal, and followed it up with a lucky bounce in the 2nd period. His shot deflected off a Ducks defenseman’s skate, hit the glass, and bounced into the net off Ducks goalie Jonathan Bernier. But his third was the highlight – a backhand-to-forehand deke after being left all alone in front of the net that sent the hats raining down onto the ice.
First career hat trick and done in unbelievable fashion. Congrats Tomas Tatar! pic.twitter.com/TkRznsTzga
