3 years ago today, Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar took the ice in Los Angeles, just a day after his father passed. As fate would have it, Tatar potted a huge 3rd-period game-winning goal and looked up to the sky in memory of his dad. It’s pretty fitting that not only did this noteworthy goal happen 2 years ago, but the Wings are currently entertaining dad’s and mentors on the semi-annual Fathers/Mentors trip. Check out the video:
