Get ready, Hockeytown! The Detroit Red Wings will unveil the jerseys they will wear in Colorado for the 2016 Stadium Series game tomorrow night.
The team gave us a good tease via their Instagram account this afternoon as to what they may look like. Through a series of 6 photos, we can stitch them together and get a look at the top 1/3 of the jersey. The 2016 Stadium Series logo is featured on the right shoulder, with the team’s primary logo on the left shoulder. On the outside left collar, “RED WINGS” is written, while on the inside back collar (not visible when worn), “EST. 1926” is written to signify the team’s founding year. The Red Wings franchise will be 90 years old in 2016.

Not seen in the photo is what the front crest will look like. However, a photo leak in early fall might have spilled the beans on that.
Since the team isn’t in action until Wednesday night against the Bruins, we expect the team to unveil the uniform online. Be sure to follow the team on Twitter and Instagram to be among the first to see what the jerseys look like! Go Wings!
