Draft Day Forecast

The day is finally upon us… If you’re a frequent reader of this blog, you should know by now how excited I am for the draft to get underway at 7pm EST tonight. The Wings hold the 24th pick in the draft, and every eligible player in the room holds the hope of hearing their name called at some point tonight. A lifetime of hard work, sacrifice and dedication has built them up to this point, where they are nearly ready to begin their journey as professional hockey players. Despite this, there are still a good number of impact players set to make waves this summer, so with that said, here are my top 5, in no particular order, players who could be on the move this summer. Today’s version will cover only unrestricted free … Read entire article »

Late Collapse Leads to Shocking Defeat

Stunned. That’s the only word I can think of to describe my reaction from about 5 minutes left in the game on. Absolutely stunned that the Wings could let a third period, three goal lead slip through their fingers, only to fall in the shootout. … Read entire article »
