Paul Rochon
Jim Caldwell is about to be 3/3 on failed seasons in Detroit and people are happy. Our team and our fan base are pathetic.

Don Drysdale
This is not a failed season. You must be kidding.

If I would have told you before the season that we would be without Ameer Abdullah, Theo Riddick, Darius Slay for multiple games, Ziggy Ansah for multiple games, and a banged up offensive line, would you have said we would go 9-7 and make the playoffs?????

Oh, and that Stafford would play the last 3 games with torn ligaments in a finger on his throwing hand……

Paul Rochon
To not win a playoff game is a huge failure. Failing to reach ten wins with this schedule is disgusting. It’s an atrocity

And it’s pathetic losers mentality to expect less. Because no other NFL team deals with those

Roster > Schedule. Lions have been one of the healthier teams in the NFL! Don, you have fallen in the trap.

Don Drysdale
I predicted us to get in as the 6 seed, said it before the season. They lived up to my expectations. I do not expect them to go on the road and beat Seattle You do, I guess.

Paul Rochon
How the hell do you blow a two-game lead with three games to go? That’s impressive. Lose to Tennessee at home and Chicago on the road… Real successful.

Don Drysdale
Paul, is Dallas better than Detroit? Are the Giants better than Detroit? Is Green Bay better than Detroit?

YES, YES, and YES!

You do not create a winning culture with a team that does not win.

Paul Rochon
Dallas didn’t have anything to play for, they literally were toying with us. Green bay and New York both suck also. The Lions made the playoffs because other teams dropped the ball not on the lions own merit. That’s not success. It’s pathetic.

How many other NFC playoff teams think they have a shot at the Super Bowl this year? How many can make a case? You know what the answer is?

All of them except the Lions! Every. Single. One.

Don Drysdale
Seattle has no chance to make a run. In your own words, “they are in shambles.”

Like I said before, If we had (hypothetically) lost to Dallas in Week 3, New York in Week 7 and Green Bay in Week 11 and finished 9-7 and made the playoffs, you would be fine.

But instead they were all at the end of the season. You have to look at the season as a whole.

Paul Rochon
No I wouldn’t, because they would’ve lost to Chicago and Tennessee at the end and it would’ve been even worse.

Don Drysdale
Not necessarily We are in the playoffs!!! But we lost to WAY better teams.

Paul Rochon
Are we better than Chicago? Are we better than Tennessee?

Don Drysdale
Chicago, yes. Tennessee is debatable.

Paul Rochon
Wow… So being a worse team than Tennessee is not underachieving?

Holy s***. The low bar… I can’t even.

Don Drysdale
We blow. But we did what we had to do to make the playoffs.

Paul Rochon
If Harbaugh coaches the lions, they win the division AND a playoff game this year.

Don Drysdale
No way Paul. We have ZERO talent. The Lions roster is awful. You think the Lions roster is good, Paul?

We have Stafford. That’s it.

Paul Rochon
I think it’s plenty good enough to have a much better season than they had because of our PATHETIC SCHEDULE.

Don Drysdale
Is Philly better than us too? You said Washington is better than us, and we beat them. If we would have lost we would be out, but we beat them head to head.

Paul Rochon
We had a miracle at home against Washington who is better now than they were then, which we can’t say. So no, we aren’t better but we could beat them at home again

Don Drysdale
I think we are an average team at best who did what they needed to do to get in the playoffs. The Packers were the better team (you said they sucked) and deserved to win the North.

We are one of the worst teams this season. You were debating putting us 12th out of 12 teams that made it in, yet you are trying to say we should have won the division!

Paul Rochon
I’ve never disputed how inept we are. I said all year, “average team with an elite quarterback.” We should’ve won the division because we were GIVEN the division. It doesn’t make us a good team.

Don Drysdale
No, we were not. I told you that 5 weeks ago. But you disagreed. You said it would be over before Week 17. I told you the Packers would win out and we would lose out. But you disagreed. I was 100% on the money.

What I love is that most thought we would lose @ NY, most thought we would lose @ Dallas, and most thought we would lose to GB. Then when we did, people go crazy!

Here is what you are missing. They lived up to my expectations because I knew exactly what they were heading into the season. If you had higher expectations for a team that ONLY has Stafford, then it’s on you. I do not expect everyone to have the same feelings as I do.

Paul Rochon
They’re BARELY better. The margin is thin because they suck too. Dallas had nothing to play for. These aren’t teams the lions had no chance of beating. They win that new York game 4/10 times. Dallas 3/10 the pack at home is a coin flip

You can’t pull ONE of those out? It’s pathetic.

Don Drysdale
We are not a good team, that is why we lost all of them. If Stafford was 100% we would have won at least one. After all, he is the ONLY good player on the team, right?
