DSN’s Top 10 Mediocre Tigers of the 2000′s

The 2000′s were a big decade for the Detroit Tigers. They moved from their old home, Tiger Stadium, into a brand new ballpark in Comerica Park. The 2000′s were filled with ups and downs from the World Series appearance in 2006, to the misery of the 2003 season which included 119 losses. The past decade saw plenty of all-stars such as Pudge Rodriguez, Magglio Ordonez and Justin Verlander join the team. But what about the players we often forget about? Many players have put on the Old English D that we often forget about just because they were just average. These players weren’t the ones making all-star teams, but they weren’t necessarily in the bottom cellar either. They deserve some recognition for their time in Detroit, whether it was for 5 season, or 5 minutes. Detroit Sports Nation, and The Roar present to you, our TOP 10 MEDIOCRE TIGERS OF THE 2000′s!
