The Michigan-Ohio State rivalry will have a new television home this year as Fox will televise “The Game.” Previously, ESPN/ABC had televised the rivalry.
In 2016, Fox acquired rights to Big Ten game with tier one rights, which means they get the first choice on what games they choose to televise. Thus, expect this game to stay on Fox for the duration of the deal.
This is a big game to grab for Fox as last season’s game had a 10.4 overnight rating on ABC, which was the highest rating of the entire college football season.
The two rivals will meet on Nov. 25 at the Big house.
