Prosecutors have filed ten new charges against 27 year-old Daniel Holtzclaw, including first-degree rape, forcible oral sodomy and indecent exposure. He was arrested in August and charged with 16 crimes at that time.
Holtzclaw played football at Eastern Michigan in the mid-2000s and was considered talented enough to be given a tryout with the Detroit Lions, though he didn’t make the team. He then moved to Oklahoma. Holtzclaw has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is free on bond.
