Tonight the rosters for the World Baseball Classic were announced on the MLB Network. The tournament has been held three times since its modern inception in 2006. Games on March 6, 2017, starting in Seoul, South Korea. Team U.S.A. will kick off action that Friday, March 10 at 6:00 PM EST, against Columbia.
Fifteen Detroit Tigers, some who on the MLB roster and others who haven't cracked it yet, are represented on seven of the competing teams. The most Tigers representation falls on Team Venezuela. Here's the complete list:
