16 Years Ago Today: Red Wings – Avalanche 1997 Brawl

This happened 16 years ago today. I still think it was the game that forever changed this franchise. It gave the Red Wings momentum to win their 1st cup after a 42 year drought. They would repeat as Cup champs the following year, still the last time to win back-to-back Stanley Cups. Go Wings!!
