97.1 The Ticket’s Mike Valenti absolutely buried Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh on Monday afternoon in the wake of Michigan’s embarrassing loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Of course, Valenti had previously predicted that Michigan should have no problem beating Ohio State, and that anything less than a win would mean the season was a failure.
“Ohio State hadn’t played a brand of football anywhere close to that,” Valenti said. “I watched them against Maryland when they couldn’t line up correctly. I’ve watched Greg Schiano alter their scheme because they were a disaster in man cover. I’ve watched them get gauged and have a defense that resides inside the top 70 in America. I didn’t have the heart to go with what my heart wanted which was for you to be destroyed. And I said it. Look, I don’t think you have any hope against Georgia or Oklahoma or any of these playoff teams. But you’ll beat Ohio State. I was wrong.”

Rashan Gary makes decision on his future
On Saturday, the University of Michigan went into Columbus, Ohio with the hopes of dismantling the Ohio State Buckeyes and advancing to the Big Ten Championship game.
Unfortunately, for the Wolverines and their fans, the Buckeyes did not cooperate as they absolutely destroyed Michigan 62-39.
Now, Michigan has learned that defensive end Rashan Gary is leaving for the NFL Draft via a YouTube video posted by Gary, himself.
“I would like to thank my higher powers, my family, the University of Michigan and the students and the fans, but I will be forgoing my senior season to make a dream come true to declare for the draft. Thank you, go Blue!”
With this announcement, it would be surprising to see Gary suit up for the Wolverines in whatever bowl it is they play in.
