It could be a very special day today for a couple of Detroit Tigers prospects as both OF Derek Hill and INF Sergio Alcantara could make their MLB debuts against the Minnesota Twins.

Hill was called up the other day after CF JaCoby Jones broke his hand and on Friday, Alcantara was brought up to be the Tigers 29th man for their doubleheader against the Twins.
Hill, who is 24, is a defensive phenom but has struggled to hit, which is why it has taken so long for him to crack the roster. In 2019 with the Erie SeaWolves, he batted just .243 with 14 home runs and 45 RBIs in 120 games.
Alcantara, who is also 24, hit .247 with 2 home runs and 27 RBIs in 102 games with the SeaWolves in 2019.
