On Friday, news broke that the NFL is conditionally reinstating New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon after his indefinite suspension, allowing him to return to the team.

With Gordon back in the mix, the Patriots have yet another player to add to their plethora of WRs on the current roster.
As we know, Lions GM Bob Quinn loves to bring in talent from the Patriots and he loves to bring in talent from teams the Lions have held joint-practices against. Well, guess what, the Patriots just so happened to participate in joint-practices against the Lions just over a week ago and the Pats overabundance of WRs could end up benefiting Detroit.
In a piece recently published by Erik Schlitt of Lions Wire, he noted that the Lions are likely looking for a speedy WR following the injury to Jermaine Kearse in the first preseason game. Schlitt mentions four Patriots WRs who could end up being cut and then find themselves as targets for the Lions.
Of those four, Schlitt clearly favors two of them and I would have to agree.
Here are 2 Patriots’ WRs the Detroit Lions could soon target.
