Out of the Power 5 conferences in college football the Pac-12 usually gets overlooked the most due to most of its games being played late in the Eastern part of the country. However, if you’re one of those nocturnal individuals, like myself, who enjoy staying up until the wee hours of the morning then you may have witnessed some great football being played out on the West coast last season.
An opening week loss to Northwestern may have cost Stanford a spot in the College Football Playoff, as they lost just one game the rest of the season on their way to a conference title and a dominating win in the Rose Bowl over Iowa. Lately in the Pac-12 it has been a two-horse race with either Oregon or Stanford taking home the title over the past 7 years.
