2016 DSN NFL Picks, Week 8

The Detroit Lions capped off their three-game homestand last weekend with a late Matthew Stafford touchdown pass against Washington to earn a third consecutive victory and push their record above .500 for the first time since winning the season opener in Indy.

Here are the results from the DSN staff picking against the spread in Week 7:


Editor Don Drysdale is holding serve after a solid 9-6 week, but Jacob Hirschmann is not far behind after matching Mr. Drysdale’s record. And unfortunately for Daniel Dylan Bair, he ruined a golden chance to keep pace but posted a porous 4-11 mark.

On to Week 8, where the slate of games is trimmed down to 13, meaning there’s six teams with bye weeks versus the two we’ve had in the previous two weeks. Detroit is a road underdog in the Space City and all of a sudden is much healthier than they have been in recent weeks.
