“The ball is tipped
and there you are
you’re running for your life
you’re a shooting star
And all the years
no one knows
just how hard you worked
but now it shows…”
One of everyone’s favorite moments of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament actually comes after the final game of the tournament is concluded and a champion is crowned.
That moment is when CBS host Jim Nance signs off and the ‘One Shining Moment’ video begins.
But this year’s video was even more special as it included a tribute to Grand Canyon’s Oscar Frayer, who was killed in an accident just days after playing with his teammates in the Round of 64.
The video is below. Make sure to go to the 1:37 mark to see the tribute.
Huge props to CBS for making sure to add Frayer in this video.
For those who may not have caught it, Grand Canyon’s Oscar Frayer, who tragically passed away in an accident just days after playing in the tournament, is featured at the 1:37 mark. Nice of CBS to pay tribute to a life lost much too soon. https://t.co/DcTp5qrhNd
