We are still a ways away from the 2023 NFL Draft, and there has been plenty of speculation as to what the Detroit Lions should do, and will do, with the No. 6 overall pick in the first round. As the weeks have gone by, no fewer than a dozen players have been mentioned as potential picks for the Lions at No. 6, including quarterbacks, cornerbacks, defensive tackles, defensive ends, wide receivers, and even a tight end. Now, odds have been released for who Detroit will select with the No. 6 overall pick.
Odds for who the Lions will select with No. 6 overall pick in 2023 NFL Draft
The odds have been released for who the Lions will select with the No. 6 overall pick and as you can see below, the current odds-on favorite is Clemson DT Bryan Bresee at +270. Here are the rest of the favorites, according to Bet Michigan (Via LionsWire).
- Texas Tech EDGE Tyree Wilson (+475)
- Georgia CB Kelee Ringo (+475)
- Clemson EDGE Myles Murphy (+510)
- Georgia DT Jalen Carter (+3900)
- Field (+610)
Bottom Line for the Detroit Lions and the No. 6 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft
Personally, the odds listed above are pretty surprising to me, especially the fact that Kelee Ringo, who is my No. 5 or 6 CB at this point in time, is tied for first when it comes to the odds. When it truly comes down to it, these odds mean absolutely nothing, and they will certainly change multiple times as the NFL Draft approaches.
