Valenti: Sunday’s tie proves the Lions are a poorly coached team

We heard 97.1 The Ticket’s Mike Valenti’s take on Michigan Football head coach Jim Harbaugh and his questionable coaching decisions this past Saturday vs. Army.

Now, let’s see what the opinionated talk show host had to say about the Detroit Lions and their coaching staff.

Never one to shy away from voicing his displeasure with Detroit’s professional gridiron representatives, Valenti absolutely lambasted the Lions and head coach Matt Patricia in particular. He sounds like he could also be thinking about a career in Hollywood, seeing how aptly he described how Patricia would look on the big screen. He described Patricia as an “unshaven guy who looks miserable on a crutch with a pencil.”

Lions fans may have a hard time arguing Valenti’s main point – the Lions are a poorly coached team.

“When it’s 24-6 with 11 minutes to go, you don’t just make one or two mistakes. There’s a tidal wave of errors that poorly coached teams make,” he said.

“I think this guy is ridiculous, I think the whole Schick, the whole Patriot thing, I don’t buy it.”
