3 Options for the Detroit Lions to replace WR Kenny Golladay

On Sunday, during the first half Detroit Lions 41-21 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, wide receiver Kenny Golladay suffered a hip injury which forced him to miss the rest of the game.

While speaking to reporters on Monday, Lions head coach Matt Patrica confirmed that Golladay is day-to-day/week-to-week. There is also concern that Golladay could end up being placed on Injured/Reserve.

If Golladay is out for an extended amount of time, the Lions will be forced to replace their best offensive threat.

Here are 3 options for the Lions to replace Golladay.

Quintez Cephus was selected by the Lions in the 2019 NFL Draft and after a solid training camp, he was slotted in the Lions starting lineup in place of Golladay, who started off the season with an injury.

Cephus has been a healthy scratch for the past three games and has not caught a pass since the Lions Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

When Golladay went down with a hip injury on Sunday against the Colts, it was Marvin Hall who was called upon to fill in. While filling in, Hall caught 4 balls for 113 yards. In other words, Golladay-esque.

Hall has great speed and he would make sure that the Lions continue to have a deep threat for Matthew Stafford.

If the Lions choose to go outside of their own to replace Golladay, they may look to former Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots WR Mohamed Sanu.

Sanu is currently a free agent but he was reportedly in Allen Park for a tryout with the Lions on Monday. In 2019, Sanu caught 59 passes for 520 yards and a pair of touchdowns while splitting time with the Falcons and Patriots.

Nation, what do you think the Lions should do to try and replace Kenny Golladay in their lineup?
