On Saturday, each NFL team had until 4 p.m. EST to trim their roster down to the league-maximum 53 players and there are now over 1,000 additional players available compared to a couple of days ago.

As far as our Detroit Lions go, they to cut their roster down to 53, but you can bet it will change before they play their first game against the Arizona Cardinals one week from today.

Here are three players I believe will be Detroit Lions by Week 1, one way or another.

*Hint: I have talked about the first two players on this list quite a bit over the past couple of weeks (or more).

NOTE: The Lions are No. 8 in waiver priority.
