3 Players who will soon become Detroit Lions (in one way or another)

[tps_title]OL – Alex Bars[/tps_title]

Though Bob Quinn will not admit it, the Detroit Lions offensive line is not very good as it stands, especially when it comes to depth.

One offensive lineman the Lions could claim off waivers is Alex Bars, who was surprisingly cut by the Chicago Bears. Bars is 6-6, 312 (or so) and he can play both tackle and guard. Would Bars come in and start for the Lions? No. Would he provide some valuable depth on a shaky offensive line? Absolutely.

UPDATE: Bars is reportedly staying with the Bears and will be on their practice squad.
