Jim Bob Cooter sucked!
The Lions should have never hired Cooter as their offensive coordinator and they certainly never should have allowed him to hang around as long as he did.
Thankfully, for the sake of Matthew Stafford and my own sanity, Cooter is history and Darrell Bevell has been hired to take over as the OC.
Bevell, who has proven himself as a play-caller, is going to use Stafford’s strengths rather than his weaknesses and the offense should be top 15 in the NFL this coming season, if not better.
Am I drinking the Honolulu Blue Kool-Aid? Maybe I am, but I truly believe this is going to be a special season for our Detroit Lions!
