3 reasons why the Detroit Lions will beat the New York Giants

We say it every week, but this Sunday’s game is the biggest, most important game of the season for the Detroit Lions. This weekend’s trip to MetLife Stadium for their tilt with the New York Giants will give us a real taste of what this team brings to the table. It also just so happens to be the first of three consecutive tough games to close out the regular season. While the Giants, coming off of their second victory over the Dallas Cowboys this season, and the Lions bring identical 9-4 records into the game, there is an immense amount of value in this game for both teams. While the Lions path to a division championship is more feasible, the Giants are still in the mix as well. On paper, the teams are quite similar, but there are three glaring areas that the Lions can expose en route to a victory.
