The 2022 NBA Trade Deadline is coming up quickly and there is still plenty of chatter that the Detroit Pistons will trade F Jerami Grant.
According to a report from James Edwards, there are three teams showing the most interest in trading for Grant.
Those teams are the Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings, and Portland Trail Blazers.

Detroit is clearly building for the future, and it’s possible that Grant is still part of it, but the Pistons could stumble into Auburn forward Jabari Smith Jr. or Duke forward Paolo Banchero with their selection in the 2022 NBA Draft, which would, obviously, overlap with Grant and make an extension unlikely, hence a trade. If there is a trade for Grant made by Thursday’s deadline, the Wizards, Kings and Trail Blazers have shown the most interest in the two-way wing, sources tell The Athletic. The Nets have poked around, too, per sources, but Brooklyn doesn’t seem to be the most likely destination for Grant.
