3 things that need to happen for Michigan to get into the CFB Playoff

1. COLORADO DEFEATS WASHINGTON IN PAC-12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

ColoradoWashington logoThis is essentially the main one for the weekend. We learned on Tuesday that Washington was the biggest beneficiary of Michigan losing last weekend in double overtime to Ohio State. They have earned their spot in a conference title game with a chance to cement where they currently stand.

However, Michigan fans will, or at least should be, rooting hard for Colorado. The Buffaloes have slim to no chance of getting in at this point, unless they blow the doors of the Huskies and the Big Ten Championship game is close and borderline lackluster. But this is where Michigan’s record against the AP top 10 and a win over Colorado earlier in the season comes in handy. A win for the Buffaloes in the conference title game means the Wolverines’ resumé becomes more inflated. It wouldn’t be JUST the loss by Washington that puts them in.

So if you’re a Michigan fan… go Buffs!
