4 Detroit Red Wings ‘prospects’ who WILL crack the 2019 roster

[tps_header]

Believe it or not, we are less than a month away from Detroit Red Wings hockey!

Steve Yzerman has returned home as general manager of the team and the expectation is that he turns things around in Detroit and gets them back to contending for Stanley Cups sooner than later.

In order for that to happen, the Red Wings will need to develop prospects to the point where they can be regular contributors on the NHL roster.

Contending for a Cup is probably a couple of years away but that does not mean the team cannot be competitive in 2019-20 if a few things go their way.

Here is a list of four Red Wings’ prospects who, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press, are in line for a job right out of camp.
