Bob Quinn has had his shot and he has failed with the Detroit Lions.
Though many were praising Quinn prior to the start of the 2019 season, some of us have been down on him since the day he was hired.

Not only does he swing and miss on more draft picks and free agents than a good gm should, but he also whiffed big time on his hiring of head coach Matt Patricia.
I fully expect the Lions to give Quinn more time because they are the Lions, but there is no question in my mind that he should be fired.
That being said, here are 4 candidates who the Lions should strongly consider if they fire Quinn.
Mike Borgonzi – Kansas City Chiefs (Director of Football Operations)
Mike Borgonzi is currently the Director of Football Operations for the Kansas City Chiefs. Borgonzi currently works closely with Chiefs GM Brett Veach and he is considered a shoo-in to become a general manager sooner than later.
Kevin Abrams – New York Giants (Assistant GM)
Kevin Abrams, who is currently the New York Giants assistant GM, is extremely respected. He has been with the Giants since 1999 and during that time, he has been everything from a salary cap analyst to assistant GM. I would bet Abrams is a hot name this coming offseason and I would be happy if the Lions hired him.
Ed Dodds – Indianapolis Colts (Assistant GM)
Ed Dodds, who is currently the assistant GM of the Indianapolis Colts, flew under the radar a bit when he was with the Seattle Seahawks but he is not considered a big part of what the Colts are doing. Dodds is no longer a secret and he will certainly be interviewed for GM jobs this coming offseason.
Eliot Wolf – Cleveland Browns (Assistant GM)
Eliot Wolf, who is the assistant GM in Cleveland, is a name who would be at the top of my list if it were not for the horrendous season the Browns are currently having. That being said, I would be shocked if Wolf does not get a GM gig within the next few seasons.
