Jeter was originally committed to Notre Dame, but he reopened his recruitment last week. You can’t really blame the young man for his enthusiasm for the Maize and Blue, especially with the recent success of the program under coach Harbaugh. Jeter tweeted this about his meeting with Harbaugh during a recent visit to Ann Arbor.

Jeter is listed by 247 Sports as a 6-foot-5 and 250-pound defensive end. He is the No. 279 overall recruit in the nation, No. 11 at defensive end, and the No. 8 ranked recruit from Pennsylvania. With his pledge, the Class of 2017 for Michigan grows to 17 hard commits. Jeter is the fifth defensive lineman prospect in that group and the 11th 4-star prospect.
