4-star linebacker Drew Singleton commits to Michigan

The Michigan Wolverines just keep adding to their already stacked recruiting class of 2017. Today 4-star linebacker Drew Singleton announced his intention to continue his football and scholarly career in Ann Arbor next Fall.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Singleton is ranked as the No. 1 recruit from the state of New Jersey and the No. 3 player at his position nationally. He played his high school football at Paramus Catholic, the same school that produced a few current Michigan players: defensive back, Jabrill Peppers, offensive lineman Juwann Bushell-Beatty and defensive lineman Rashan Gary. Singleton made his choice of the Wolverines over other interested schools including Ohio State, Clemson, Michigan State, Illinois, and Notre Dame.

The Michigan class of 2017 still stands as the No. 4 overall class in the country and second in the Big Ten to only Ohio State.
