4-star Cass Tech OL Michael Onwenu picks Michigan over Michigan State

On Tuesday evening, 4-star offensive lineman Michael Onwenu announced that he will be playing college football for the University of Michigan.

He made his announcement live on the CityBallers podcast.

Onwenu, who is 6-3, 360 pounds, played his high school football locally at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, MI. The 247 Sports composite has him ranked as the No. 4 offensive guard in the class of 2016.

Though Onwenu has been committed to Michigan since June of 2015, there was some uncertainty floating around when he decided to make an official visit to Michigan State on January 22nd. Apparently his trip to East Lansing was not enough to change his mind.
