5 familiar free agents the Tigers must consider

[tps_header]

The 2015 season was a season that the Detroit Tigers and their fans would rather just forget. That being said, there is roster work to be done before the 2016 season begins and signing the right free agents will be extremely important if the Tigers want to contend again immediately.

Here are five very familiar free agents the Tigers should strongly consider signing this offseason.

Doug Fister pitched for the Tigers from 2011-2013 and is one year removed from a 16-6 season with the Washington Nationals where he posted an ERA of 2.41. 2015 was a bit of a struggle for the 31-year-old but would be a welcome addition to the Tigers rotation.
