5 for 10: Top 5 College Football Games to Watch in Week 10

(10) NEBRASKA CORNHUSKERS (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) @ (6) OHIO STATE BUCKEYES (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten)

WHERE: Ohio Stadium – Columbus, OH

KICKOFF: 8 p.m. ET on ABC

That line seems a bit drastic considering the Buckeyes are not playing to the level that everyone is expecting them to be. That tells me that Vegas does not seem to trust Nebraska all that much still, and they believe OSU will break out of their funk this weekend.

The Huskers are in a good spot, for now. They hold a one-game lead in the division but there are four teams sitting with a 3-2 record in the conference sitting right behind them. Among those is Wisconsin, who just beat them last week in Madison. It was the first real true test for Nebraska, but they held their own for 60 minutes. Another strong showing, win or lose, would validate their ranking at the worst.

The Buckeyes meanwhile seemed as untouchable as Alabama for the first five weeks of the regular season. Then came a night game in Madison where the offense began to sputter and they needed overtime to complete a comeback. They struggled again in a loss at Penn State and barely eked out one at home against a scrappy and reborn Northwestern team. OSU is still scary because of the potential to be explosive, they’re soon to break out at some point.

Ohio State owns the all-time series, albeit in four meetings head-to-head (3-1). The two schools have split their two meetings in 2011 and ’12 since the Huskers joined the Big Ten.
