According to Tim Twentyman, a handful of former Detroit Lions‘ players are taking part in the NFL’s Broadcasting Bootcamp, which is held at Bowling Green State University.
Those players include Matt Cassel, Joique Bell, Andre Fluellen, George Johnson, and Michael McMahon.

Other former Lions’ players to participate in the boot camp include Dan Orlovsky and Nate Burleson.
I don't. I know both Dan Orlovsky and Nate Burleson did it, and obviously they've gone on to pursue that career.
