Petr Mrazek has found his form
Petr Mrazek has struggled to find consistency this season and has lost his hold on the starting job on a couple of occasions. But since the new year, Mrazek has looked like his old self. His numbers won’t reflect it due to the poor play of the team in front of him in many of his recent starts, but he has looked confident in net.
After entering Wednesday night’s game against Boston in relief of Jared Coreau, Mrazek was stellar. He stopped 23 of 25 shots and made some key saves that kept the Red Wings in the game. If Mrazek can build off of this win and regain consistency, he could help lead the Red Wings to the playoffs.
