5 recently cut players the Detroit Lions should sign

CB Brandon Browner

Brandon Browner

Cut by: Seattle Seahawks

With the an up and coming corner in Darius Slay as well as nice additions in Nevin Lawson and Quandre Diggs, the Lions secondary could be a strength for the team this season. Although bringing in a veteran corner who has Super Bowl experience with both the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots would not hurt.

Browner signed a deal with the Seahawks this offseason after playing with New Orleans in 2015. However, the corner was among the notable cuts in the NFL over the last few days. At 32 and heading into his 7th season, Browner’s best days are behind him. However, he could add some value and play making ability to an already strong Detroit secondary.
