Travis Swanson is currently being projected as the starter at center for the Detroit Lions in 2016, but even the Lions brass knows that they desperately need to improve in the middle of their offensive line. After struggling for much of 2015, Swanson may not be the long-term answer for Detroit.

This is a position that the Lions could choose to address in the draft with a prospect like Michigan State’s Jack Allen who impressed scouts at the Scouting Combine in February. Allen is currently being slated as a 3rd-4th round pick, which would be great value for a Lions team looking to improve at the center position.
