The Michigan Wolverines will have wait in their search for their first 5-star recruit.

5-star wing Harrison Ingram has decided to commit to Stanford this afternoon, making the announcement on social media.

Ingram, who had been a top priority for Michigan, had also been deciding between the Wolverines, North Carolina, Purdue, and Harvard.
“Although my education is important my family and I, my dream is to be an NBA player. In the end, this is a basketball decision and I believe (Stanford) gives me the best chance to achieve my dreams and come right in and make an impact from the beginning.”
Per 247Sports, Ingram is ranked as No. 11 prospect in the country.
The Wolverines currently have the No. 5 ranked prospect class in the country, with commitments from Frankie Collins, four-star wing Kobe Bufkin (Grand Rapids Christian), four-star wing Isaiah Barnes and three-star forward Will Tschetter.
