With the Detroit Lions officially eliminated from playoff contention, it is time to start rooting for a higher pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Following their loss to the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day, the Lions sit at 3-8-1, which currently places them with the seventh-worst record in the NFL.

This means that if the season ended today, the Lions would have the No. 7 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
That being said, if you are hoping for a higher draft pick, you will root for the Lions to lose their remaining four games, coupled with rooting for teams who currently have a worse record to win.
Here is what the NFL standings look like going into Sunday.
Here are the 7 teams you should be rooting for in Week 13.
Jets (4-7) over Bengals (0-11)
Dolphins (2-9) over Eagles (5-6)
Giants (2-9) over Packers (8-3)
Redskins (2-9) over Panthers (5-6)
Buccaneers (4-7) over Jaguars (4-7)
Cardinals (3-7-1) over Rams (6-5)
Broncos (3-8) over Chargers (4-7)
The best-case scenario is that the Lions will move up to No. 6 this week with a shot of eventually moving up to No. 2 by the conclusion of the season.
