Eric Ebron hasn’t exactly endeared himself to fans of the Detroit Lions. With multiple dropped passes on the season and another fumble this afternoon against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he was asked by Lions beat writer Kyle Meinke if he enjoys proving fans wrong with his resurgent second half of the season.
Me: Do you get some measure of satisfaction out of proving fans wrong?
Eric Ebron: "No, because I bet they can't wait to talk about how I dropped a ball. I'll never make this fanbase happy, which is cool with me. I'll just go out there and continue to do what I do."

This isn’t the first time that Ebron has thrown shade at Lions fans. Following a disappointing performance in October, Ebron took to Twitter and beckoned for fans to “Stay Woke”…whatever that means.

WHOA! Is Detroit Lions RB Ameer Abdullah being benched?
Ameer Abdullah has shown flashes of brilliance since being drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2nd round of the 2015 NFL Draft. In fact, on his first carry in the league, Abdullah scored on a 24-yard touchdown run against the San Diego Chargers.
Unfortunately, those flashes have been few and far between and many have questioned whether or not Abdullah has what it takes to be the starting running back for the Detroit Lions.

MUST SEE: NFL on FOX makes national joke of Detroit Lions
Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, the Detroit Lions managed to only have nine players on the field for a crucial third down play late in the game.
On Sunday, during their pregame show, FOX NFL showed a skit taking a shot at the Lions failure to put 11 men on the field.
