Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football continue to heavily recruit the state of Michigan as they picked up another in-state commitment today. Harbaugh did not have to go too far to recruit Vincent Gray, the six-foot-two cornerback out of Rochester Adams High School. Vincent Gray’s commitment makes him the 20th commit for the 2018 class.

With the addition of Gray, Michigan now has five defensive backs in this recruiting class, all of which are 6’2” or taller. It appears Michigan is jumping in on the trend for long and lengthy cornerbacks that has taken over both college and pro football.

“Extremely thankful and excited to say that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan!” Vincent Gray

Gray is a three-star recruit who was formerly committed to Missouri until Harbaugh gave him a call late December. More recently Gray had received a lot of interest from West Virginia and UCLA. According to 247sports, Michigan’s class currently ranks 14th in the nation.

Gray earned All-State honors his senior year at Rochester Adams.
