As soon as the Super Bowl is in the books, current New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia will reportedly become the next head coach of the Detroit Lions.
According to NFL regulations, the Lions are not even allowed to offer Patricia a contract until his season is officially over but Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press is reporting that the Patriots DC has already begun his next job.

On Tuesday morning, Birkett tweeted out that Patricia has already spoken to multiple members of the Lions staff to notify them that they will not be part of his staff moving forward.
Early dispatch from the Senior Bowl: Future Lions coach Matt Patricia talked with some members of the Lions staff last week, told them they wouldnt be returning.

Birkett also mentioned that the Lions defensive coaching staff will look completely different for the 2018 season.
At this point, expectation is for an entire defensive overhaul. On offense, fwiw, I have seen TEs coach Al Golden and WRs coach Robert Prince still wearing Lions gear.

It was reported on Monday night that the Lions were parting ways with quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan, who is a highly thought of coach and should have no problem landing a new gig.
In addition, former Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin accepted the same position with the Cincinnati Bengals after interviewing for the head coaching job in Detroit.
Word on the street is that Lions offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter will be retained by Patricia, though nothing is official at this point.
