LOOK: Michigan and Michigan State title odds revealed

Despite all of the distractions that Michigan State and their basketball program have been facing, Tom Izzo has his basketball team focused as they continue to win. Since their loss on January 13th to Michigan, State has bounced back nicely to win five straight games, which puts them at 21-3 on the year and has them ranked 5th in the latest AP Top 25.  Las Vegas betting site, Bovada, has taken notice and has them as the odds-on-favorite to win the NCAA title this March. Bovada has MSU listed as a 5-1 favorite, followed by Villanova at 11-2 and then Duke at 6-1 favorites to run through the tournament and be the next national champions.

The Michigan Wolverines got a much-needed win against Northwestern after a tough loss to third-ranked Purdue on the road last week. Overall, Michigan is 18-6 on the year and currently ranked 24th in the AP Top 15. Bovada has them listed at 75-1 to win the NCAA title.

The Spartans, who are third in the Big Ten standings with a conference record of 9-2, will try to extend their current win streak to six games. They will be playing on the road against the Indiana Hoosiers on February 3rd.

Michigan, who currently is fifth in the Big Ten, has a conference record of 7-4. The Wolverines also plays on the third of February when they host the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Wolverines are a half-game behind Nebraska for fourth and 2 games behind the Spartans for third. Both Michigan and MSU are chasing Purdue (11-0) and Ohio St (10-1) who are currently 1st and 2nd in the Big Ten Standings.
