During his time at Michigan State from 2011-15, Travis Trice was largely a role player off the bench up until his senior season. In 134 career games with the Spartans, Trice started in just 41 of them, 33 of which came in his senior year.

Overall, the 6-foot-2 guard from Springfield, Ohio had a nice career, averaging just over 14 points per 40 minutes with MSU. In his senior year alone, he averaged north of 15 points per game in an elevated role. He’s always had a reputation as a sharpshooter, as evident by his 39.5 percent from three-point land.

Being a guard, Trice has been able to handle the rock as well. And it’s certainly showed as of late. Check out this highlight of the former Spartan in the National Basketball League out in Australia.

Alright, Travis, I see ya with the handles.

After going undrafted in 2015, Trice has bounced around between what is now known as the NBA G League and the aforementioned NBL in the land down under. His two separate stints in G League have both been with the Westchester Knicks, an affiliate of the New York Knicks.

Out in Australia, he’s played each of the last two NBL regular seasons with two different clubs. This season, he finds himself with the Brisbane Bullets, whom he signed with last July. In 24 games, Trice is averaging 15.3 points per game and dishing out 5.2 assists, including that behind-the-back, no-look dish to his teammate.

No official word on if Trice is getting a phone call from the famed show on the hardwood that is the Harlem Globetrotters, but they have definitely noticed his Globetrotter-esque play.
