Just a quick update for those of you patiently awaiting Urban Meyer news. The Ohio State Board of Trustees assembled today to discuss what they want to do regarding Meyer but a final decision has yet to be determined.
According to Dave Biddle, an editor for Bucknuts of 247Sports/CBS Network, Ohio State’s Board of Trustees wants to reinstate Meyer immediately but OSU president Michael Drake disagrees and wishes for Meyer to serve a suspension. Meyer, who is present at the meetings reportedly refuses to serve a suspension because he believes he is innocent.
CliffsNotes version (from what I've been told): Ohio State's BoT wants to reinstate Urban Meyer immediately. University president Michael Drake is balking at that; wants Meyer to serve a suspension. Meyer refuses to serve suspension since he thinks he did nothing wrong. #Buckeyes
